All EF Weld Control Boxes MUST be recalibrated and serviced to ensure reliable, accurate and trouble-free welding

PLASSON electrofusion control boxes are required to be calibrated every 12 months or 200 hours of operation – whichever occurs first.

Each Control Box shows the number of working hours since the last calibration on the display when it is turned on. Models that include data recording will also remind you that a calibration is required after 12 months.

Servicing your Control Box will allow us to identify potential problems that may impact reliability, such as damaged leads and worn terminal connections.

Boxes are serviced in our Brisbane service centre.  All required repairs are quoted before work is carried out.

Standard service includes:

• Recalibration
• Upgrade to the latest software
• Inspection and testing of all components
• Performance of a test weld
• Upgrade to universal welding tips (if required)
• Installation of Bluetooth hardware to allow use with the PLASSON SmartFuse welding application on your phone
• Provision of a Calibration Certificate

If you choose not to proceed with these repairs, then an evaluation fee of net $80 will be charged.
