Our range of fittings has a number of handy adaptors to help you connect what you need with the minimum of fuss,

PLASSON’s Barrel Union Threaded Male Adaptor is used to convert the end of a PLASSON Line 7 metric compression fitting directly into a male BSP thread configuration.

ADAPTING TO AUSSIE CONDITIONS

PLASSON’s range of mechanical compression fittings are engineered to handle Aussie conditions.

Being flexible, stable and strong means PLASSON fittings will withstand a range of conditions, including ground movement.

PLASSON have developed an innovative captive O-ring design that ensures the O-ring stays in place inside the fitting and is not easily lost, damaged or contaminated. This feature also delivers a water-tight seal the instant the fitting goes on the pipe.

PLASSON metric compression fittings are PN16 rated and are suitable for both high and low pressure. All our mechanical compression fittings are engineered from high quality materials that are corrosion resistant, UV stablised, light-weight and strong.

Maximum temperature of use for fittings and valves is the same as that for polyethylene pipe and they are not intended for use in hot water applications. They will withstand sub-zero temperatures.

Compatible with PELD, PEHD, PE40, PE80 and PE100 pipes complying with AS/NZS 4130 Series 1

AS/NZS 4020 – products used in contact with water for human consumption/effect on water quality.
