PLASSON started with a group of farmers in the 1960’s.  Water was scarce and they started looking around for reliable, leak-free fittings to connect poly pipe.  When they couldn’t find anything good enough to deliver, they started to develop their own.

The designs this collective of farmers came up with were so good they started a company to sell them.  The team moved into solutions for urban water, waste water and gas distribution. Nowadays, many of the world’s largest cities rely on PLASSON’s innovative solutions to keep things flowing.

These days PLASSON delivers innovative products to a variety of industries including irrigation, rural, water utility, plumbing, mining and gas distribution applications. PLASSON systems also provide connections to other pipes: steel, copper, ductile iron, PVC, cross-linked polyethylene, polybutylene and polypropylene.  Our fittings have proved to be the most reliable connection systems for polyethylene pipelines in Australian conditions for over 45 years.

PLASSON Australia Pty Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of PLASSON Limited and distributes a variety of products to its network of resellers and users of  PLASSON systems in Australia and New Zealand.
